The Maryland-born artist (although raised in Jamaica, Queens) also belongs to the talented group G-Unit, together with Tony Yayo, Bang Em Smurf, Domination and 50 Cent. Lloyd Banks has then established himself to be great rapper and even won the 2003 Mixtape Artist of the Year Award. His first solo album The Hunger For More, which was released in 2004, has already posted sales of 1.5 million in the United States alone and even reached the #1 position in US album chart.
Lloyd Banks second solo album Rotten Apple, released in October 2006, under the record label G-Unit/Interscope Records reached #3 in US Charts. His single Help featuring Keri Hilson was well-received by the female fans of rap music.
